It snowed here last night for the first time this season (except for a brief moment of flurries, but that doesn't count). It's cold now, and I hate cold!

Sorry, but you can keep your several inches (of snow!) to yourself!

That's funny, I had to go to get my emissions test today and I too had bird poo all over my car. I was so embarrassed. They probably thought it'd been months since it had a good wash...and they would be correct!

I live a little South of Boston & we had heavy rain all day--and I discovered another place in the house that is leaking but only a little.

My mother and father visited your neck of the woods one October. They had taken windbreaker type jackets and that was it. They came home with sweatshirts and heavy coats ;) They went on and on about how miserably cold it was. I think you guys had record breaking temps that fall. I think it was 2009.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that your roof (or whatever it is that's leaking) makes it through the winter!!!

We ended up with somewhere around and inch or less of snow. Local schools are out. That's how sissy we are down here with the inclement weather! There are at least two cars sitting at the bottom of my hill, hehe.

We had snow this weekend, but I want more! I love all our four seasons, but I am a true winter person. We are used to cold temperatures and lots of snow, I find it refreshing most of the time. The weather is not a problem, just put on warm clothes. :-) I find rain and wind (and +degrees Celsius) this time of year much more annoying. And not to mention not normal here up north, makes me worry about global warming....

wow.. where do you live ?Canada? (lol)

I love snow but only when I dont have to shovel it and I do all the time.. and dont have to drive in it and have anywhere to go and it melts fast.. I just dont like 20 inches of it.and we had that in Northeast last year.. lbs of snow. It is nice to have snow and be looking out the window and sitting by a fireplace and roasting marshmellows..

so far this winter in the Northeast has been very nice.. Cold on some days but not bad..

I think it's supposed to get up to 60 here today, and I'm perfectly fine with that!
