I'm not really in a funk. It just that I've noticed more and more that things don't interest me. I don't wanna watch tv. The gym bores me (new staff that aren't as friendly). School work is just plain icky. I'm trying to get back into something, anything. It's just not working! Maybe I'm just too stressed. Maybe it's spring fever and school is getting me down. Maybe I just need a vacation!!!

Ramble over.

Definitely spring fever. You need to get into the woods and heal. Take a weekend backpacking trip.

I've been trying to find something new.

That's exactly how I know nothing is interesting me! I did redo my bathroom last weekend (despite not really having the extra money to do so) and that gave me a temporary fix. I'm usually a pretty crafty person, but I just haven't been in the mood lately. A road trip would be fun...WITH someone. I drive by myself all the time.

Being broke doesn't help either. We just found out two days ago that our salaries are frozen and our classroom budget was reduced by $50 for next year. So no raise and I buy more supplies myself next year (this year's total was $650).

A new haircut sounds nice. I'm scared of getting it more than trimmed, though. I still have bad memories of the "old lady" cut my mom asked for in the third grade! Maybe if I have the money left over next weekend, I'll look into it.

Thanks for the suggestions, Go.

I hear ya girl!...I have also been feeling the same way. A vacation isn't a bad idea. I may actually be taking a vacation by myself next month. Who knows if I actually go through with it.

Sounds like...

You need to SPICE things up a little. Here are things I've tried:

- Road trip! Unexpected and to who knows where?

- A new hair do and/or colour

- Try a new craft...picture framing, stained glass, ceramics

- Do a new exercise routine, preferably outide. Bicycle thru a park. Jog in a nature trail or on the beach.

And if none of these appeal to you - meditate on it! What have you always wanted to try? Take a step towards that...

Let us know how it goes! Go.
