I left my office crying this afternoon. Really need some kind words here.

Everything seems hopeless. I really don't like my current job, so I sent out some resumes trying to get a new one. Got nothing so far. I don't like the town i am living in so the new job hunt is also an effort to move to another city. But it seems so hard. Thinking about my job and my life really upsets me.

To make it worse, my boyfriend dumped me saying that "we are not right for each other" after I tried very hard to make up. He's actually the best guy I've ever got. So it seems that I always screw up on relationships. I don't know what's wrong with me.

Anyway, guess I am really depressed and I cannot figure things out. Someone give me a hug pleeeeaaaaase.

I'm sorry you're going through this, we all have those bad days, and they're hard to get through, but just keep telling yourself that you will, and focus on the positive.

big hugs!

i have been exactly where you are. the most important thing you need to remember is that your feelings are temporary. they will pass, and you will eventually feel better. my advice would be to break these problems down into small, manageable bites. you are trying to climb a mountain, and you have to do it slowly. if someone dumps you, they didn't deserve you in the first place. it can't be your fault - it always takes two. it doesn't help now, but you will eventually feel okay about it.

you can change anything you want to. consider options you may not have previously considered. a career change, a big move to another city... maybe moving in with a friend or a relative temporarily until you get back on track... get a good night's sleep and tackle some of this tomorrow. don't think about everything at once, you will feel overwhelmed. find a place to start, and take baby steps. reaching out for support - even if from strangers in cyberspace - is GOOD. do more of that! talk to friends and family about this, and see what you can come up with. good luck, i totally know how you feel.

Thank you so much for your kind replies. I know I am in a kinda difficult stage of my life and I really want to get through this. I hope I have the strength and ability. "Hope" is something we really need to have, isn't it? :-)
