I don't know all of you too well, but I have to share my story. I have been single since the beginning of the year when a 2 year relationship ended somewhat on good terms. We still talk occasionally but it's getting less and less.

Anyway, started talking to this guy a few weeks ago. We actually met online which I wasn't exactly looking for and it was a little awkward at first but when we decided to meet up we had a great time and conversation was easy and we were both really comfortable around each other. That night we met out for dinner and drinks, then met up with his friends at someone's apartment, then ended up going back to his house for a while and then back to my house. Nothing happened other than some kissing and cuddling which I was really impressed with. He knew my boundaries without even having to ask and he didn't try to push past them.

Then the following week we met up at a park in his neighborhood and took my dog for a walk. There wasn't as much conversation then but he had had a bad week and had a lot of things on his mind. But still he had a nice time, you don't need to talk constantly, just walking around was peaceful.

So last week I hadn't really heard from him much. Most of our conversation is online messaging because he rarely has his phone on, guess his last job required him to be on the phone non-stop and now he is very anti-phone. So since I hadn't heard anything for a few days I sent him a message asking how he was and ended it with asking if he was still interested in hanging out. I didn't want to be pursuing someone who has no interest. He replied that he did want to see me again he's just been busy with work.

So yesterday after work I get a random phone call from him. Surprising since he doesn't hardly use his phone and he invited me out to meet with his friends and him at a pool hall. Last minute invitation, but I think it was also a last minute plan on their part. So I decided to go meet up with them and had a great time! He is goofy and definitely not shy around crowds. He did well hanging out with both his friends and me without completely ignoring anyone. Ended up going back to his place for a while...ok, a long while before I finally made it home. We seem to have hit it off well and he asked when he'd get to see me again before I left so the weekend looks promising.

Ok, just had to share my good news. I'm tired today but it is well worth it :o)

No problem, glad I could help entertain you at work. I myself have had a somewhat boring day, makes it tougher when you are trying to stay awake too :o)
