At least we haven't dated THIS guy

This has got to be, by far, the worst first-date-gone-wrong story I have ever heard. I mean, I've dated some losers, but this guy takes the cake.
It takes awhile to listen to the voice mails on the link, but it's worth it:

Oh, man! You mean there's more than one of these guys out there??? Scary. Really scary.
How sad is it that men now feel entitled to a refund if the date doesn't work out. Maybe we should start charging them for the clothes, perfume, makeup and hairspray we wear to get cute for the date.
SHEESH.
Oh, and if this guy continues to harass you, report him.

I think this is what makes it all come out in the wash.
The last guy I went out with (who has since ghosted) showed up for our date in ratty old jeans and a wrinkly, sloppy shirt. We were going to a NICE restaurant in a fancy area, so I dressed up a bit. He also told me that he doesn't believe in haircuts (and it shows).
We really looked mismatched, and it did make me think about how much effort women put in, and not all men do. That's why I appreciate a well dressed (and pressed) man so much. I mean, I am pretty low maintenance, but I always try to look nice and make a bit of an effort for a date.
Yes - basic maintenance (not even high maintenance) for a woman is a lot more expensive.
