I am grateful for anonymity. This story 100% true, and I am 100% shaken by the experience.

Today I went to lunch with two educators whose company I enjoy. They are both PhDs and I find them intriguing. I get to indulge my ultra-nerd side with them. Both are married, one is quite old.

When they say they need a woman with "meticulous personal hygiene" I always think they mean one who waxes, not just shaves her entire body.

I'd be wondering if he were OCD and washed his hands every two minutes and charted his body fat with those kinds of interests!

I have to laugh. I read a guy's profile on Match who wrote "I like a clean woman." WTF? I'm thinking, "What, has he met a lot of smelly women or something?"

I don't know if I could even tolerate yet another dating site.

EH is a COMPLETE rip-off. I knew their director of IT and their "special algorithym" is totally fake!

As always, thanks for sharing your perspective. Mr Smith, who has been kind, generous, attentive, loving and flirtatious all week, will be here at 10 PM PT on Saturday and leaves at 11 AM on Sunday;

I probably would have laughed, too, although I might have been horrified depending on my mood. My mood makes such a difference in those situations!

The DHG from last week thought I said I was 24 when he first asked me my age. When he found out I was 34, he seemed a little turned off, even though he was 37. I don't know what he was thinking when he thought I was 24!
