Ya see, I used to work at KFC and I made mac and cheese there.
I don't think I could do a diaphragm either.
Dear "Walking, snot-headed zombie",
I have to ask - when you blow your nose, is it colored yellowish or greenish? If so, you may have a sinus infection. Just a thought.

Nope, no pretty colors here.
Yes! It kills my energy.
I have been suffering from this since I was in my early twenties. I never had allergies when I was a child. This is horrible, but I have never mentioned it to my doctor. I have been taking over the counter drugs (Advil Cold & Sinus or Tylenol Cold & Sinus) off an on every day since I was 23 or so. I know, I know . . . my mother is a nurse and tells me all the time that I could be doing damage to my kidneys. Especially since I am a social drinker.
Sometimes when I wake in the morning, it feels as if I have been beaten about the head. I have to take something immediately. It's not every morning though, thank goodness. It happens maybe once or twice a week, if that.
Most days though, it's pressure at my sinus cavities located on either side of my upper nose. It feels as if there is swelling there, which, there is due to the sinus pressure. If I compress that area with my thumb and index finger, the pressure goes away. After a few seconds, of course, it's back again.
My sister suffers from migraines and she told her doctor about what I have been experiencing. Her doctor said that I probably have migraines as well and it has just gone undiagnosed but I do not believe that to be true because I have no nausea or sensitivity to light and sound. I do think it may be related to the barometric pressure however, which does sometimes coincide with migraines.
I just need to get myself to the doctor! I have been taking these over the counter drugs for so long, and they work so well that I forget to mention it to my doctor.
Do your jaws ever ache? Mine do on occasion. That is weird, too.
Will you be on the prednisone for an extended period of time? I don't pay much attention to the pollen count but Tennessee is ranked pretty high as far as all that stuff goes. There have been folks who have had to move because the allergens in the air are so bad here.
I'm glad your rash is fading . . .
Maybe you should try something like Claritin-D over the counter and see if it helps.

Deirdre
