Maybe it's just me, but does anyone else get creeped out when someone knocks on your door unexpectedly?  It's happened twice tonight. I never answer unless I'm expecting someone. I don't have a window to look out, and it's dark so the peep-hole is useless.  I'm just not sure I feel safe opening the door to a stranger, not knowing who it is. It could be my neighbor, but I don't want to take that chance!

I know how you feel as my mom is in rehab and sis is at work and out with her boyfriend alot.. That leaves me home alone and yes it does make me a bit nervous but I do have a huge yellow lab at home with me that I am hoping she would bite an intruder but then again someone could shoot her..

I dont live in the country and its a quasi city so there are houses right next to me really close and the whole block has that neighborhood watch thing and its hard to get into this house except the night I didnt have  my key and I climbed in through the window.. Only thing I had to get up on a lawn chair and it was tough .. My friend had to push me through the window.. Oh;but I digress..

I do feel pretty safe most of the time alone but if I were out in country as I used to be I didnt feel so safe..

Well get one of those barking door bells.. The one they had on the Golden Girls.. Did you see that episode or maybe look into investing into an alarm system.. In this day and age people are wonky and crazy so it is good to find ways to stay safe no matter what..
