You think IT guy just wants to be friends b/c I am tempted to go on a date w/someone else? Quite the contraire. IT guy has made it clear the only reason he hasn't settled down b/c he has yet to find a best friend AND lover. We can't know yet if I fit that bill...when we were having dinner, we shared our summer plans. WOW. They were identical. We both plan to do camping around some hiking trails on w/ends...trip to Vegas...when we were talking about what food we'd pack...it felt like a couple for a moment.
I think I got scared. I'm liking him too much - looking forward to doing things in the summer with him? ON A SECOND DATE?
Settling down means giving up opportunities like flying away with someone else. Am I ready for that? Well, I must be - b/c I cancelled this morning ;-)
Focus on one guy this time. Change things up and maybe I'll get different results...

I'm glad you really like him. If you wanna go for it, then do it! Don't worry about what everyone else says you should do. Do what YOU want to do. You have to live with it. If you like him a lot now, then don't deny that. Don't hold back if you are willing to go forward!
