I was watching tv last night and for some reason started wondering: Where are all the good romantic movies these days?

Have you seen Fever Pitch, I know it looks like it be all about baseball, but I thought it was romantic. I'm sure you've seen The Notebook.

If you want a true romance story, try one of Nicholas Sparks books. I know it sounds so cliche, but he really knows how to pull you into the story. I have read The Rescue and just finished The Guardian. The latter is a GREAT book that really pulled me into the character like it was happening to me. I know it is not a movie, but books are better anyway.

I read one Nicholas Sparks book-The Bend in the Road. I recommend him as well. The last good romance movie I saw was the Notebook.

As far as movies go, chick flicks arent generally my first choice in a movie so I dont really pay attention when they come out. I love a good romance but they are so cliche and cookie cutter nowadays.

I read A Bend In The Road, too. I also saw The Notebook. You should read The Guardian. It combines suspense and romance which is slightly different then the rest of his books....

I have a book started on my nightstand, but I just haven't picked it up in awhile.

Did you ever see Love Actually? That movie has about 6 or 7 romantic story lines.
