I decided I'm going to try and go back on my "meal plan" to drop some more weight before school starts.

<< One thing I've been picking up lately in the store is pomegrenate juice. >>

Yes, that's cracked up to be really good (although expensive). I usually don't like fruit very much (especially the watery melony types, and I don't mean watermelon), but blueberries are always a good snack (maybe not before a big presentation or meeting).

I dont care for fruit either so I force myself to eat it. And it usually goes bad before I do eat it. I usually have to get a low-cal smoothie from Jamba Juice in order to get all my fruit in.

Pomegrenate is really good for anti-oxidants and cancer fighting agents. I believe it has 2 servings of fruit per serving of juice.

>>I have never tried pomegrenate juice. I've seen it out a lot more lately, though. Do they make it in a light version? I've been getting light cran-grape juice. It's good for the urinary tract. I also like light orange juice to put in my smoothies.<<

Look at the labels on the "lite" stuff -- they usually still have quite a bit of sugar and/or artifical sweeteners. It's better to get 100% juice -- and 100% juice counts as a fruit serving. I think the pomegranate juices are 100% - usually mixed with apple juice and some other flavors.

AJ, enjoying life with C.

Pomegrenate juice is 100% juice. Sometimes I dilute it with a bit of water to take away from the tang...
