Men can't dance!

Or at least the guys I've been watching! Just an observation this morning- when I go out dancing, it always ends up being the women out all dancing together and the guys literally line the dance floor and watch. The brave ones who venture out are quickly lapped by the women and walk back to their fellow guy friends just watching. They can't keep up! They don't seem to have the balance, rhythm, or stamina that the ladies do. That's good for me, because I hate it when some clueless guy tries to "dance" with me. Grinding is not dancing, and they seem to have given up on that!

Today I am thankful for a safe dance floor, once again!

I went dancing last Thursday and this Sunday. And on Thursday, I was presented to a guy I once talked to you on a dating site, but we never got to meet then. I just remember his name because it's very unusual, he's French. Well, he dances really well, we danced together and he flirted with me both times (I reminded him about our attempt to meet 1.5 years ago lol). I'll be going back for sure lol.

I can´t dance myself, Shy, so I have sympathy for those guys. ;-) My "two left feet" cause problems sometimes, but with a guy who can dance well I can actually follow his lead! :-) I am rather hopeless on the disco floor though, will never impress anyone there....

Oh my... There were a few guys who tried to dance last night, and they were a bit better, but they mostly just got in the way. One guy was intent on the three of us noticing him. We noticed, just not for the right reasons! We called them jersey shore wanna-bes.

I did do a little flirting, but unfortunately he is only 24. I told him that if he wasn't so young, I'd flirt with him. Which, of course, is when I started flirting with him. Hehe. I see him pretty much every week at karaoke, and hadn't really talked to him until last night. Boy, if I were 25 again, I'd have lots of choices!

And Marty, obviously you have an issue with people who like to dance. To each your own. But you don't have to be rude about it.

I don't understand the dance fetish. Never did, never will... and AFAIC, it is a FETISH.

Note that I said the ones I'm watching can't! I'm sure there are plenty of guys out there who have taken lessons who do just fine. But there is a big difference between being able to perform a dance you've been taught and just being able to feel the rhythm and dance!

Now, I'm off to go dance, and hopefully no random guy will consider that an invitation to touch me in places he hasn't been invited to! I'm going out alone for now. My friend is coming a bit later, but I decided to go a half an hour early alone just to see what happens.

Hmmmm, depends on a man. Yesterday night I went salsa dancing and it was full of great dancers, I had a great time lol. I hate it when I go to a club and men just watch, for a latin club, it would be what I would consider a waste of time.

Whether someone (male or female) can actually dance well depends on several factors--first of all, if it's a dance that actually has certain steps, like the waltz, it's knowing the steps--but there is also having a sense of rhythm and how to move the body naturally.
