So John's safely back at LAX now, taking the red eye to DC.
I admit I got a strong reaction when I read "a grown man who has a net worth well above $10m apologized!."
In my work I deal daily with people who "never make mistakes" who are in those income brackets, so that's how I know how rare it is. His humility touched me.
I had the same reaction to that comment that Mark did.
I dont know what to say..
sounds like a lovely time amongst friends.. I wish I could make some men I know come and visit me but they are scared rabbits.Atleast he came to visit you and I give him credit for that.
How does one get that power???
First, let me say I am glad you had a nice evening with a good friend. Those are special. times. I reconnected with a man a had lost touch with for 16 years, it was nice to get to know him again. But he seemed to think he could have me and he LT gf. No thanks!
The apology thing bugs me too. Its not a big deal for anyone to apologize for hurting someone, it should be expected, and to give him kudos for basic human decency seems to be selling people in general short. Poor people can be as much of an ass as wealthy people. Neither get s a free pass.
So he hought of you through the years and wondered what if? I think he didn;t give you enough credit
Well I hope he does hurry up to get the divorce and then comes back.
I've been out of town and offline for about four days. Gave me time to reflect.
That's probably a good conclusion to come to, given he's hurt you in the past.
