Hello Everyone,

I'm Gabby and am new to the site. I turned 30 this year, single and still relatively new to the Chicago area. I've read some of the comments posted here and thought I'd give it a try. I'm hoping to just be able to make new friends and share experiences and get advice as well. Maybe even find local girls like me how'd like to go out and meet new people in the city and have fun.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.

Hi Gabby...I'm Rene'... I've been hanging around IVilliage for a few years now, the singles board for just a few weeks. I live in Montana so I doubt we could hang out but if you ever get up this way.

Hello Newbie, Happy Belated Birthday! WOW, the big 3-0. Do you need a counselor? Just joking. Jokes aside, you do have a key to living a content single life. Meet people and make friends. You would be surprised how things start to come together. Networking is great. Get a group of friends together in your area to go biking, canoeing, play tennis, watch a Packer Game, Ooops, da Bears I mean.

Just wanted to say hello and welcome. And get ya talking. Are you a sports fan?

Hello,

Between feeling like I'm still 25 yet being 30 now, moving from LA to Chicago, changing careers, and seeing the wrong guy, it seems like way too much at times; so I do need a counselor at times, J/k. I feel like I'm starting all over and I use to have such a good life before. It's hard but I hear you, I do need to try to get involved in stuff that will allow me to meet people and just socialize more, and that will make a difference. Just stuggling with it a bit; actually with all of it. It is a bit much. I'm just second guessing my decisions but I really appreciate all of comments and welcomes from you gals and I welcome any advice.

I'm actually a Packer Fan. Dead hard Packer fan! I like most sports. I'm glad football season is starting back up and can't wait 'til basketball starts up again.

Cheers!
