The other reply is right, there is someone out there who is better for you and would never dream of hurting your feelings this way.
were YOU the only recepient or was he sending it to a group as kind of a "life update" type thing!?
if it was ONLY to you - you better think LONG and HARD about getting your heart tied back up in that! :(
Hi,
I agree with everyone & he still has an emotional hold on you if you let him. The last guy I dated which I sobbed to you all about, I had to block his email so I could move on. It is still tough...going on day 10. He even sent me flowers on my bday which I gave to another person because I don't want to be reminded of him. He didn't want me nor want to do the work. I told him I can't be friends with him.
For your own healing stop all contact so you can make space in your life for someone who deserves you & appreciate you.
Big hugz,
jstbu
Don't respond. You may want to right now, but in the long run you'll feel better if you don't. I say either delete it, or just ignore it if you don't want to do that.

The email was to everyone in his address book- it looked like.
"He knows it hurts me too much."
hence forth I REALLY think you should NOT reply and if he ever emails you again I'd reply with... "please do not send me any more emails - delete me from your address book so I don't get your life updates, please"
I'm sorry K - but he sounds like a basket case to me... he's OBVIOUSLY NOT happy and to go messing with your emotions possibly in hopes of getting a self confidence boost... well... he doesn't deserve you!
BIG HUGS!!!!
He's out there... ya gotta believe!
I'm not going to reply.
