Count me in on the RV trip - sans the cats please!
Marina, I have to say - you and your life and men are the life of this board. Don't stop sharing with us. I would miss it! Good luck with Mr. Smith, but I sense he is not the one for you. You are trying too hard to tell yourself he is. Just like the guy I recently started seeing, who is perfect for me on paper, is probably not the one, since he doesn't enter my thoughts when he is not with me.
Not to change the topic but I want to air a pet peeve of mine, which is why use the acronyms - DH, DS, DD, meaning dear husband etc. why not just H, S etc? takes away from the meaning of the word dear which should be used sparingly and when meant. In addition, most comments made about DHs, DDs etc. are negative which totally takes away from the meaning. The strong, intelligent folks on this board could steer away from this. There, I got it off my chest :-)
Music- Depression and "self-pity" are two completely different things. Marina said she's feeling anger and self-pity, not depression. I personally don't think running away from problems is ever the answer, nor do I think any of this is something Marina won't get over...probably on her hot date tonight.
Quite honestly, Marina's life never seems all that bad. In fact, it always seems much more interesting and dramatic than your average person. She gets far more attention, dates, and sex than all of us combined. Pointing out that I'm happy with my measly Midwestern life with only one guy half-way interested and just enough money to pay the bills...well, she should probably reconsider how lucky she is to have the life she has. That's all I was trying to say, just in a nicer way.
I picture all of us in this RV and I think we would probably have the time of our lives..
Oh; I wonder what Mr.Smith had to pay to his ex for their divorce settlement?? Well? she is laughing all the way to the bank.(lol)You know that saying. Living well is the best revenge.

It IS hard to change our attitudes, our habits and our patterns that worked for us when we were younger.
I HATE THOSE ACRONYMS TOO!
Shy, it's taken me fifteen minutes to stop laughing aloud over your post to write a response.

Nah, like I said...my life isn't all that bad right now.
Free, they knew one another for 5 years before they consummated it.
