Gotta share my stupid human trick today.

So about a week ago, I bought a 12 pack of Diet DP and left it in my car because I couldn't carry it in at the time.

D'oh! I made the mistake of leaving a can of Pepsi in the center console of my car. Then we had a blizzard here, when I finally dug my car out, I have a lovely ice sculpture in the hidey-hole of the console. Happily it was frozen and easy to chip away. There's a reason my mom has always called the absent-minded professor.

LOL Oh, I'm sorry, but that was really funny. :) But I'm sorry you were embarrassed...laughing is always the best way to handle it, though...though they are comfortable, I tend to get my heels stuck - and therefore trip - on a lot of these Boston bricks and cobblestones...I've gotten used to that, too. :)

Ahh, yes, laughter is the only appropriate response at a time like that. :)

LOL, great story! Hey at least you have something to share and look back at and remember. I could totally picture the pop cans just spewing pop all over the parking lot.

So pop's a Midwestern word, right? Just curious. :)

We say "pop" in Colorado as well.

Californians call all kinds of soda/pop "Coke."

Ahhh, I see. Interesting how one drink took on so many names. People like to think New Englanders call soda (our actual word for it) tonic, but only our grandparents do. :)

I think the pop/soda line is drawn in the middle of Missouri- straight through Columbia.

Pop is "soda" in western Pennsylvania. It's "soda" east of Harrisburg.

And on the embarrassing story line...

I was at work (this is when I taught in middle school) one day and the faculty room lunch topic was a girl who was busted for shoplifting... at the adult store.

To which I said, "Why did she go to that one? They don't have a very good selection."

You could have heard a pin drop.

Whoops.
