1) I have lost an entire work uniform. Pants and shirt. I CAN NOT find them anywhere. I know I have not undressed anywhere but home in a looooong time. So where in the H*LL are they? Time for my son to clean his nasty room and see if somehow he ended up with them. I am certainly not going in there and he's only been home a month.
2)My neighbor has mowed my lawn twice. He's got this huge tractor (not a farm tractor but probably 3x the cutting swath of my garden tractor) I didn't know who did it the first time. The 2nd was yesterday morning. He probably didn't think i was home but I was almost having an anxiety attack. I didn't have the nerve to go out and ask what he's doing or thank him. Now my yard looks like even more sh*t b/c it needs edged and weed whacked. Is he trying to help me out or just tell me to keep the neighborhood looking good? I am trying to think he is just doing a good deed. But my inner bitch wants to tell him if he's going to mow it - do it all the way. LOL
Yeah, if I were in a different place I would have gone out and done it on my own or finished up what he started. As it is, I am more annoyed than thankful. Trying to find my thankful!
I'd say your neighbor is being nice. He probably sees you're a single mom and wants to help. Pass along the good deed to someone else, and the weed whacking you have to do will be worth it.
I have a feeling that when I find the uniform, I will feel like an idiot too! It's got to be here somewhere - they would steal my work uniform and not the flat screen or the few gems I have??? LOL
Yea, I think he's being nice. And I should drop a note in his mailbox thanking him (and maybe asking to send some of his young employees to do some work for pay?)
Hey Hthr..
Be greatful you have just lost your work uniform .. Let me explain.. A few weeks ago my ex H told me he was renting out our old marital home. Being that I had left so many things there since 2007 and I would go there on and off I now had to take all of my things out of the house. Well? the things I left there.. So that meant more boxes and more things to store at sis which there is no room here.
So in the move I have no idea where things are.. I know that I have things in bags in the closet and I have things in boxes packed under the desk. I also have left things in the trunk of my car.... This is the most frustrating and annoying turn of events and I have no idea if I need something I packed away I have no idea where it is.
By the way I have downsized so much but still have stuff (lol) and I am always looking for another place to live but so far a no go
So I totally hear your frustration..
I hear ya! Every breakup I have lost more and more. My music collection has been descimated . Plus kids moving out would just take whatever they felt like with out even asking.
Do you have a storage unit?
No storage unit as they are so darn expensive and I dont think i really have enough stuff for that.. Its the annoying too much for this and not enough for that stuff (lol)..............
As soon as someone can rent me an apt. with no job and it looks decent I will def. take it and then start sorting things out and that kind of stuff..
Oh; A few years ago I went down to Fla. to live for awhile with a rebound guy but that didnt work out.. When I left there I shipped a bunch of my stuff back up to NY and left stuff down there.. I left my bike, computer, bedroom set and a bunch of stuff. the things I left i will never get back cause the guy i was with of course turned out wacky.. Oh; well. No wonder I am alone.. (lol)......
oh; My son left stuff back at marital home in the shed.. So if he doesnt go back and get it the new people will probably throw it out. Oh; well . he is so lazy..
the only thing I regret losing was some of my jewelery.. It just got lost in the shuffle of me moving so much.. I have moved atleast four times since 2006.. No wonder I am tired.
hope you found your uniform..
