Hi Everyone,

I'm not sure how big a holiday Easter is for you, but here in Canada it's a pretty big deal........everyone talks about the "Easter week-end" and how nice and relaxing it will be.

I had a similar upset on Thursday night at the place I usually go.

Hi;

Hope you are feeling better today. That is sad that you were alone and that your dad didnt even relate to you. I cant relate to things like that because I have a good support network around me. I hope you can find some new friends..Atleast you went out and spoke to others and you had the courage to do this. I dont think many people could have done that alone. If you can do that then you can do more when you are ready..

I wrote a post about this yesterday on here. Did you read it? It is titled Joining Marina in Camp Despair.

At first I was upset that we were having people over for dinner and gathering on Easter Sunday because it was all couples. It turned out pretty good and I was okay.. Easter is a big holiday here in the US as most

There's just nothing worse than a lonely and unpleasant holiday weekend when you are single. And I totally get feeling "pressured" to say you had a GREAT weekend when in fact, you did not. Even when it's not a holiday weekend, it's really just best to say you had a great weekend. People don't really want to hear that you had a sad, lonely weekend---it's a real conversation stopper.

My Easter didn't turn out like I planned.
