Okay, even though I'm 39 and should already be wearing the lower waisted jeans, I've been putting it off because I feel most comfortable with the top of the jeans hitting me right at my waist.

The funniest Christmas card I ever saw in my life showed a cartoon Santa bending down putting a gift under the tree.

Hey Florida- the long shirts and leggings are back in style. It's more about sweaters now than long shirts, and they are worn with tall boots and not keds, but they are back!

With all due sympathy to the guy in court, like others here I'd pay ANYTHING for a great pair of jeans.

That 80's description is giving me quite the picture.

Today I was in bankruptcy court (w/ a client, not for me) and when the man sitting in front of me got up for his turn, his pants were so low that 1/2 his butt was showing when he got up--not a great sight.

LOL, the 80's look is coming back, it was in all the department stores over Christmas

I'm shortwaisted too, but I found a cut of Levi's that I love - will look at them tonight and let y'all know what they are. They are awesome, and you can't feel old in Levi's!!!!

I despise low-rise jeans, but of course, I refuse to wear Mom Jeans. I think very few women look good in them--they hit in the wrong place, and yes, you feel like they are falling off when you sit down. I do have one comfortable pair, a brand called "D Jeans" and they were really cheap (although I'd pay anything for a really good fitting pair).

I also discovered a very cool "invisible belt" you can wear to help keep your jeans up plus it's not bulky when you wear tops on the outside of your jeans. It's called "Is A Belt" and you can order it online, although I bought one from a hair salon. It's clear plastic, lays flat and it adjusts and hooks like a bra strap. Buy the wider one.

I personally can't wait until jeans with a waist return to fashion.

Oh, and I was so sad to see leggings and big tops of the 80s go out of style. Loved that look.

Marina, you can get the stretch denim jeans with fake pockets now- jeggings. I got mine at Kohls. They aren't the best on me, but they might be on you.

And ladies, please don't sport the mom jeans. I don't care how old you are. Wearing mom jeans at any age is just as bad as wearing the super low cut ones past 15.
