Found this recipe for banana bread, followed it to the "T" and it boiled over, made a mess in my oven, turned out hollow in the middle (of course, from the part that boiled out) and had too much salt or baking soda flavor.  UGH!!!  I think I'm more angry about the waste of time it took to make and the ingredient waste than the fact that I won't get to have a slice for b'fast in the AM!

Ugh! There's nothing worse than buying ingredients and having it turn out horrible! I have had mixed results with recipes I have tried from online, although I have better luck with larger food websites such as Epicurious and Cooking Light. I made a crockpot recipe from an online site and it was so bad I had to throw it away.

Of course, I have quite a few cookbooks, I probably already have every recipe known to man anyway.

It's always a gamble but they turn out more often than not, I guess.  I think I'll adopt a new rule and make sure there are at least 30 reviews with the majority of them being good.  This one suspiciously only had three but I didn't notice until after the floor of my oven was covered in black sticky muck ;)
