Since Thim didn't believe it, I looked it up. I found lots of sources, but here's one link that is more "user friendly".

A short polypeptide hormone, C43H66N12O12S2, released from the posterior lobe of the pituitary gland, that stimulates the contraction of smooth muscle of the uterus during labor and facilitates ejection of milk from the breast during nursing.

Ummm...not sure what your point is there, Thim. There are a lot of uses for it, as I found. The question was- would you want to have it introduced into your body artificially so that you could fall for someone or feel better? I found an article that was about just that.

Nice try, but I'm just not into funny today. I took my blood pressure again this morning, and it's still high. We just had an assembly and the speaker was less than interesting, so the kids were awful. Then he brought in the dogs. All was lost after that.

Milk wouldn't squirt out. It has to be produced first.

I thought I was asking a good question, but I guess not.

aw, sorry to hear that you had crazy kids today...


when i read "milk is ejected", i was thinking of something else that ejects - hence "squirt"...

it was a good question. TSL is just slow today.

Sorry you had a rough day - kinda makes a person appreciate the other good days more.

I could use a shot of anything to make me fall in love. Only prob is that such a thing might make me less selective which may cause me to end up with the "wrong" person; what a frightening possibility!

Hhhmmm sounds like A Midsummer Night's Dream. I wouldn't take the shot in case I fall in love with the wrong person/being (with a donkey's head) Also, I'm trying to figure out, if once you take the shot and 'fall in love' with someone, is it for good? Will/Can you change your mind later, maybe once the oxytocin wears out or something??....
