This is pathetic, sad, stupid, harmful, a waste of time to even write, self-pitying, all victim-y and totally wrong to post.

Here goes.

Tonight there was a parade in the marina - many decorated boats go up and down a long channel, playing music, dancing, full of Christmas lights.

I believe in acknowledging our emotions even if they are "negative" as a healthy way of dealing with them.

Ah, Marina, too bad we aren't real life friends--I'd come over & have a glass of wine w/ you and we could commiserate our single status together. It's hurtful when you find out your former loved one is w/ someone else too.

I live near the water also but since I'm in the north, by now boats are out of the water so nothing like that goes on here.
