I have been single now for a new months and I hate being stuck at home while my friends are all out on dates and having a great time so I started going to concerts hoping to meet guys and a lot of times i wound up meeting jerks who were drunk. The only good thing that came out of going to those concerts was that I got to hear some pretty good music. One band that really made an impact on my was called The Casanovas (myspace.com/thecasanovas) but I was wondering, where do you ladies go to meet guys?

I think it's just enough to be out. Doesn't matter much where. I know people that have met at Starbucks, on air planes, on the street, at the gas station, at a volunteering event and lots of other places. I don't think there's a particular meeting place, at least not in my city. Now, if you're just looking to hook up and nothing more, there are about a million of those places. :-)
If only there were a store...

I agree. It's all about just getting out of the house and doing things you like. BUT, if what you like is flower arranging, you're not likely to meet men.
Some good places: grocery store, coffee shop, Home Depot, wine tastings, organized social groups (check out www.meetin.org or www.friendster.com), book stores, classes (woodworking, fitness, etc.)
The key is being approachable, making eye contact and saying hello. :)

What does being "approachable" mean? I'm not really sure. I always thought it was walking around with an aloof look on your face - like you don't have any cares in the world and smile a lot.
