So I'm right smack in the middle of what will probably turn out to be another crush that didn't go anywhere.

Haha, i'm the same way!
Right now my crush is on this guy that i can't tell if he wants to be friends or more. He's busy with work a lot, so i rarely see or talk to him, but I still think about him a lot of am currently in the phase of trying to not feel this way about him.

Before that i had a crush on a guy i met at this local sporting event. Before that, a crush on my coworker who has a girlfriend, and before that the purolator delivery guy.

I wish I could stop serial-crushing. I guess it's because i'm fairly new to being single again and am just on the look out for mr.right.

Back to current crush, i really hope it goes away soon. I need to find someone more attainable and less confusing. I need help too!!

I wish I had some better advice but all I really have is reassurance. I do the same thing from time to time. I'll get interested in someone (for no hugely apparent reason) and then I can't get him out of my head. I hardly know him yet somehow I've found a way to convince my brain that I want to think of no one else besides him. It's so strange, it's like part of it happens without you trying. Overall, I think crushes are a good thing... they're fun, you get to flirt and it's generally just light-hearted. The times I think you have to be careful is when you get your mind so wrapped around it that you can't think about other things or other people. Of course we've all been there but I really do think that this closes you off to the rest of the world a little and you're not "open" to any new people that may come along.

Good luck. I wish I had that magic cure for a crush, believe me!

I know how you feel...It sucks! Ever wish someone else would come around that you would like just so you could forget about the current guy you like?

I know what you mean! I've had crushes on so many guys that didn't go anywhere and it is quite frustrating. The last two guys I've had it bad for flirted with me and I flirted back and let them know I'm willing to take it further but apparently they weren't.
So it makes me weary of everyone who comes my way. I hate being a hard nose but I think sometimes it's better that way than to being mislead which I was a few times.
I love the feeling of seeing the guy I'm crushing on and seeing him light up when I cross his path. I like him staring and checking me out and following me around.
I don't realizing that maybe I've overanalzyed things and realizing he was probably looking for a quick lay. I've had a crush on this guy for a couple of years now and just this pass summer I realized that maybe I needed to get him out my head because it seemed he wasn't as into me as I'd hoped. That stung a bit but what are ya gonna do? Now, there's another guy I've noticed checking me out and showing up around me unexepectedly. He doesn't say much to me but he found out my name. He just stares and follows me sometimes and if I'm wearing my sunglasses, next time I'll see him he's wearing them too. LOL! Honestly, I like it but still could not see myself with him like I could with the other guy I liked for years. It's not an obsession with the other guy it's just I felt our mannerism were more alike than with this guy. This guy seems a bit more rough around the edges and...I don't know. He'll try to be a gentleman around me but for some reason it doesn't look sincere to me. But his stares turn me on. I can't explain it. But circumstances allow me to run into him and see him more than the other guy which I think is why the other guy moved on. :-(
But anyway. Crushes are fun and they definitely take away all the stress from your life. They really make me feel alive. LOL! Have fun and try not to read too much into them until you know for sure.
