Have any of you met a guy that you got along with well and you find attractive until you discover he's shorter than you?

Don't write him off quite yet...

I'm only 5'7" but my BF is only 5'6"!!! I won't lie, it bothered me a lot at first. And sometimes it still does...But in the end he is a wonderful guy and he treats me better than many of the taller guys ever did! I can look past his lack of height...after all...we're not all perfect! He looks past the fact that my hips are wide, right?! ;)

Honestly, I love Britain, but I think they give (thin or average) people more crap for being chubby and fat and whatnot than we do.

I think I must have subconsciously decided over the weekend that I'd go out with him if he calls, because I found myself in a shoe store buying casual flats.

I mean, Katie Holmes is far from chubby. Maybe when she was pregnant, but still. If she's "broad," then the rest of us must be positively barn-sized. Sheesh. Glad I don't live in Britain, if they expect us all to be waifs.

She's kind of thick in her legs.

I am all for a cute pair of flats. This is just a nice excuse to go shoe shopping. :)

Ok, and I have to agree that a guy really should be bulkier/more solid

>> I think a part of me wonders how he'd hold up in bed. If I laid on top of him would he collapse and not be able to breathe???<<

LOL! I have to admit, I've had the same thought. :)

I was checking out my low blood pressure reading, found this, and thought you'd be amused (and it makes sense!):

"Mostly short persons are found to have lower BP than taller persons."

Yet another benefit to being vertically challenged, haha.

Hi

I don't have your predicament as I'm just short to begin with 5' and petite...

but I do understand what you are talking about.
