Bailey,
I sooo just did this.
Wow that is amazing. Good for you ! I am mainly waiting for me to "finish school" then begin looking for jobs in other cities.
I resently relocated to California. I've wanted to move to Cali but I needed a job first since I didn't know anybody over here. Needless to say, posting my resume on Monster.com was a brilliant idea. I had great call backs but my current job was through a recommendation. I had phone interviews (or what they call screening), then I was brought in for face to face interview. The company paid for my relocation and I had just one week to look for apt and start working. The company gave me a list and I also used the internet. If you really want to do this, focus on the city you want to move to and as your apply for jobs there, hit the internet and research on housing the the area. If you happen to go there for interview, grab a newspaper and also ask around if there's a publication on rentals etc. Most cities have such publications. I relocated because I really, really needed a change and I am glad I did it. Good luck.
Piscopa,
Have you met any friends yet. ?
I am having the hardest time meeting people I can hang out with that is not affiliated with work, or my guys friends.

I posted my resume on Monster.com and I get SO many things that ARE NOT in my field... when do you know a teacher getting a listing for a police officer?
