I know I've posted about the man who went back home to allegedly take care of his daughter numerous times, but it's hard to see where I wrote what before because of these tears in my eyes.

Forgive me.

Let this be a warning to all who would repeat my folly, dating a man whose divorce had 3 months before it was final. I wish I'd listened to those of you who warned me..

You were right.

I'm sorry, Marina. I suspect my FWB wasn't yet divorced when we began our little "thing" and he was spending more and more time with his kids as well. He never led me to believe it would turn into anything more, though.

Sometimes you've got to wonder what people are thinking when they do something they know will hurt us.

Don't be too hard on yourself, playing the "should have" game.

In other words, he wants to keep you on the hook, just in case.
