I'm sure that these adjustments (makeup, hair) don't make a big difference to a guy if he has feelings for you. It's not like you completely change yourself, so even if he sees you at your worst, it will be ok, as long as most of the time, he's attracted to you. I'm doing it for me.
I have long, wavy, thick hair which looks wild in the morning. And I have bangs now which become all curly from sleeping, yet my ....hmmm partner apparently found me very attractive in the morning. I thought it was ugly, but not for him. He would even put his face close and force me to look at him, supposedly admiring my face. I cringed everytime he did this.
Well, I don't intend to co-habitate with a male again in my life, except perhaps of the canine sort, so I don't need to worry about him seeing me at my worst!
There was a movie I saw last summer called What's Your Number starring Anna Faris--it was pretty forgettable, typical rom/com but it had some funny moments, but at the beginning it showed that's exactly what she did--got out of bed to comb her hair & brush her teeth before the latest date woke up.
Ah yes, the infamous Daniel Cleaver.... I have always liked Hugh Grant and he is one of my favourite British actors. But Daniel is definitely not my "cup of tea", too much of the bad guy, although indeed hot. I love good guys! So, Mark Darcy is more my thing. Colin Firth is and always will be (for me) Mr Darcy in Pride and prejudice (Whoa!) and is also on that list of actors as mentioned above. :smileyhappy:
"jiggly bits" as that movie character said (forgot the movie and her name!).
- Marina, the "wobbly bits" would be Bridget Jones talking to the gorgeous Mark Darcy in "Bridget Jones - The edge of reason". :smileyhappy: I´d fell the same way in her situation...but

I always wear makeup overnight and reapply it - and brush my teeth first thing in the morning if I'm with a man.
