Hello readers..i was just wondering what has been your experience with sex during the end of your cycle/period? Is the other person or you generally turned off by that? I get mixed feedback from reading articles in magazines.

No, I think it's fine. A good product/tampon, pad, whatever replacement is Instead. Check it out.

Partly, it depends on the guy and whether he is not too bothered by it. I actually enjoy it, and not just at the end of my period. We usually put down a towel, and what's interesting is that it rarely ever gets dirty. It offers good lubrication, but doesn't really make a mess. Good combo! (sorry if this is too gross)

cml ... is Instead a cup thingie? I've never understood how those are inserted :) But that would be a good idea, too.

Yep, like a flexible plastic ring with a very thin plastic cup. I was skeptical, but it does work, very well and for quite a long time. I don't use them often, but they're very discreet, if you catch my drift, haha. No one was the wiser!

That does sound pretty cool. Though I still don't want to think about the logistics of it ... And how long can it stay there? Days?

And also, I hadn't really thought of having sex with someone new while on your period. I guess that would be kind of different. Once you've been with someone for a while, I don't think it's such a big deal.

Yeah, it does get a bit messy, but it works for what it's meant for. I think you're only supposed to leave it in for 12 hours, otherwise things would get a little too....messy, haha. :-/

The guy that I was seeing when I bought these was new and I didn't get to see him very often, so when I saw these in the drugstore I thought they'd be a good idea to have.

OK, I'm not going to say I haven't done it...because then I would be lying!

My thought behind it is...as long as you and your partner are both ok with and you take the precaution of laying down extra sheets or towels...then go for it!

Actually I've found that I'm more then usual sexually aroused (or bluntly HORNY), when I'm on my period each month. I dont know if it has to do with just my hormones being out of whack or what...but it just seems to happen that way.

So...I say go for it!

I've had some guys who wouldn't go near me until it had been over for at least a week, some that weren't as bothered, and then my current guy, who doesn't care at all (though if it's the first day or two, I'm just not really wanting it at all). Whatever works!

My ex was fine with it, as long as he did not have to see anything... He gets freaked out with blood in general.

R isnt bothered by it and neither am I. Some of our time together has been during my cycle and you know something...when you only have 10 days together after 4 months of not seeing each other, you get over it real fast!! If its heavy, I say no, but for the most part it doesnt bother me at all. It makes me feel better too...I dont have such bad cramps and knowing he finds me sexy despite me feeling horomonal and fat is a great pick me up too :)

Great way to relieve cramps.

But I usually let the guy bring it up if they are "still in the mood" when they find out I am having my period. Most men usually don't care. That's what showers were invented for. LOL

Smile,
