Does anyone else have trouble finding presents for the men in your family?

I wish we had more men on this board to answer. I have problem whenever it a male friend Bday... I dont do the Xmas shopping luckily.
How about an educational game for your nephew or a nice leather belt. Some men dont mind skin care products especially if it is winter.

Hope you get other suggestions

PS: glad he is not your boyfriend:~) the guy you are talking about in your post

I used to have this problem when I had to shop for an ex-bf, and still do with my three nephews. Girls are so much easier.

What I do know is that men like practical gifts that they can use - no knick knacks or anything. My ex-bf got a sweatshirt pullover from his dad every year - usually with a boat or some other equally lame picture on it. Bad gift for a guy. :)

The men I've known like: electronics, movies, music, gadgets of any sort, liquor, books... For your friend's fiance, I'd say a gift card to Best Buy (or a movie/electronic/music store in your area) - or a nice bottle of wine or a "guy" drink like Scotch.

For the boys, (12 and under), anything that makes noise and can be considered "cool." My nephews are all about: Nascar, bike riding, getting dirty, building stuff, and destroying stuff. Toys where they can build a rocket and set it off, for example, are always a big hit.

AJ, enjoying life with C.

I make all of them get on Amazon.com and put up a wish list. If they complain about it, the threat of ties cuff links, and calendars of cats seems to get them motivated.
