asking, "Are you okay?"

Is that really hard to ask?

His response: "I'm not a mind reader (Fine, I'll give you that). YOU will have to TELL ME when you're having a bad day." (But shouldn't my tone of voice be enough of an indication that I'm having a bad day? Or do you not care enough to ask?!)

Gosh! Men really are from freakin' Mars!

Hey there! I'm sorry you are having a bad day!

But, I have to say, I understand where he's coming from. Why can't you just TELL him you're having a bad day, rather than waiting/hoping that he'll ask? I don't think that's necessarily a sign that he doesn't care.

Yes, I could tell him, but he cared enough to ask his ex gfs how they were feeling when they were together. And I dont know, call me crazy, but I thought he would have the concern/ respect/ decency to ask me how I was feeling?

Sorry, I am having a bad day....

How do you know how he treated his exes?

And is this something he does all the time, or a once in a while thing? If the former, maybe the two of you just aren't a good match. If the latter, then maybe you'll decide (when you're feeling better ;-)) to cut him some slack and look at his *good* qualities?
