I am sorry that I haven't been here for a while. It's been rough. Just to recap, I was having problem with my new racist director who just hated me for absolutely no reason. It seems like the more I try to make him like me, the more he hated me. Anyway, the stress was too much and my company failed me in helping solve the situation so I resigned about two weeks ago. While it's great to be away from this idiot and my company that disappointed me so much after over four years of working for them, I am now fighting hard to find a job in California. I went to an interview last week and just today, I got the news that I didn't get the job. On top of that, my doctors are trying to find out if the lump they found in my breast is cancerous. On top of that, I have surgery Friday! Mind you, I had a major surgery a couple of years ago where one of my cervical bones was removed! I am a firm believer that when trouble comes, they come in batallion but Christ! I need a break. I just need a little break. I am so tired of my life revolving around doctors! I figured all the drama and curve balls life has been throwing at me didn't ask permission from me before they attack so I am assuming that whenever blessings want, they can come any time so I don't understand why it seems like my life has become just over coming one obstacle after the other. I am sorry that I sound bitter, I am just tired. That's all.

First of all you need to stop thinking such negative thoughts! I beat lumps in my breasts 6.5 years ago and I was going through a separation of my marriage at the same time. I am a mother to 4 boys who at that time were much younger than they are now. I lived for them :) Benign is a beautiful word!
You can do it too, just stop with the negative thinking- it's only going to make you feel bad.
2nd- you need to get medical coverage on yourself so you don't get overwhelmed by the debt that is incurred in this situation, the hospital that is performing the lumpectomy/biopsy can set you up with applications for monetary assistance to help you through this ordeal. Some of the paperwork may get complicated and an attorney can help. You can find help through you local legal aid or through this link.

Next, you need to decide on a recourse for the discrimination that you have been victimized with. Your local dept of human relations will handle this. There is no reason you should have left your job because someone else doesn't care for your race. You need to talk to the DOHR and file a suit against your former employer. I attached a link below.
Never think that you can't take on a major corporation and win, I am walking-talking proof that you can.

I wish you the best of life and I will pray that you're benign :)
