I have a question for you guys who have come out of the woodwork lately (and those who have been hiding for a few weeks).

Is there really such a thing as a shy man?

Do you really think it's that easy for men?

So are you saying that you'll call/approach a woman you're interested in, no matter what?

Yes I would call if I liked the woman. Life is short. Nothing to lose. Like I said I don't have patience with people who are too timid to talk and meet. For me that means she is not for me. How many times in your life when you looked back and said "Gee I should have...."?

My mother was given 3 months to live and she died "on schedule." Most of us do not know when we will die. It can be today or tomorrow or... So for me if I want a relationship then I will "go for it." This does not mean I'm agressive. I also operate from "allowing" and seeing what unfolds. When it comes to communication, I can only do so much back-and-forth.

So whether the person is "clueless" or "shy" or whatever... the bottom line is that he is not calling. I operate from the behavior not the label of the behavior, i.e. he is not calling regardless of what reason you give it.

I agree, Mark. I have no patience with someone who won't do something they supposedly want to do because they are "shy" or whatever. That's just an excuse, IMO, but as you say, the bottom line is the behavior, not the reason for it.
