About this time two years ago, I had one date with a guy- we'll call him the firefighter.

Ten bucks says he does.
So... IF he does, are you game?
I think it's a toss up. Only because it was the distance that bothered him . . . have either of you moved closer in since then? Yeah, what are you gonna do if he DOES email you?
Aren't you supposed to be writing papers?
I don't wanna write papers!!!!
Yeah, but I'd feel like an idiot, ya know?
Distractions are not bad if you can accept them for what they are. Whoa, it's hard to type with one hand asleep. I was resting my head in my left hand while I was looking for a hammock online . . . darn thing went to sleep on me. Anyhoo, the only thing with using a guy for a distraction is, anything can happen and when you least expect it, it will, good or bad. Leave to me to weigh in on both the positive AND the negative. Meaning, to state the obvious, one could always fall when one least expects it.
This is gonna sound REALLY REALLLLLY cheesy, but, I was listening to Madonna's old song, "Frozen" yesterday. Found the old dusty CD before a two hour trip so thought I'd revisit my past. The lyrics, as simple as they are, really hit home for me. My heart is definitely frozen, but it's easier this way. You know? Is anyone else out there frost bitten or is it just me?
