Where are the shower police when you need them?
So the cable guy just left after installing my high-speed internet.

I would imagine that I wouldn't smell too good after crawling around installing cable all day either. I used to take school pictures for a living. I had three very heavy metal suitcases that I had to get inside the school. Then, I had to pull everything out, put it together, get it set up, calibrate my camera under the hot lights . . . I know this is gross, but by the time the kids started showing up, I'd be wet with sweat. Attractive right?
After that stint, I worked in an executive suite. Instead of my boss telling us the day before that we would be rearranging heavy furniture, she'd let us show up in our suits and then spring it on us. After moving three or four book cases and desks, I'd have no choice but to throw my hair back in a pony tail. Of course, I'd be fuming by this point.
--I can only hope that I never smelled! Or if I did, that nobody got close enough to notice!
It wasn't that kind of stink.
Has my computer gone insane, or were there blank messages in this thread? I just need to know that I'm not having another stroke.
You're not having another stroke.
It's inevitable that the cable guy would start stinking during the day even if he had a shower that morning! Just think, he probably has about 6 appointments per day wherein he's outside messing with the cable box and/or moving people's TV stands, etc. I feel bad for them! I'm glad I don't have a job that would make me sweat badly. The hot summer my car AC went out was horrible, but now I have emergency savings for stuff like that.
Glad you had febreeze and candles handy when he left... I can imagine myself in your situation scurrying around my apt de-stinking it. LOL. YUCK!!!
Now that that's over you can sit back and enjoy your new DSL ;)
