A story of last night's adventures

So last night I was at a small, quiet little bar, talking to a friend of my brother's I have not seen in a long time.

Okay, when I read about the fry-o-lator, I thought that this guy was joking and had come up with a very clever pick-up line!
Do you ever wonder...do weird people know they're weird, or do they think they're normal?
Sounds like this guy was mentally challenged . . . good story, but I kinda feel for him.
Okay Stacey, what is it about guys from your area and their being referred to as "spit fires"? I will reference (even though it's just a movie) Good Will Hunting.
No clue. LOL Just something we say, I guess. Have you ever heard the expression that someone's full of "piss and vinegar"? (If I can say that word...if not, I apologize). Kind of means the same thing. Just kind of means when someone doesn't take any bull from anyone and lets people know it - they always have a comeback, and it's not often that you'd catch them off guard. That's the best way I can think of to describe it.
I figured after the conversation that the guy had to be mentally challenged or something...but to hear him speak and to look at him (not that you can always tell by how someone looks - not everyone who is mentally challenged has physical traits that show it, I suppose), that didn't occur to me at all. I guess he had some kind of accident or injury of some sort that caused brain damage...but I don't know what it was that happened to him. He's very high-functioning, anyway.
>He says, "I'm in charge of the fry-o-lator down there. I'm making $7 an hour. That's GOOD money!"<
Wow - and free fries on top of it all!! How did she EVER turn *him* down?? :)
