Keep us updated, hopefully the bird is not stuck and is nursing some chicks. I hate to see that though, hopefully they make it, especially when the enemy is lurking around.
Shy I wouldnt try to move it or have someone else move it if it is stuck. Then the mother wont feed it at all and abandon it (and others if more are there).
Poor thing!!! Reminds me of my 4 year old cousin who got her head stuck in the railing at my sister's graduation...good grief who hasnt done that?!?
I would do the same thing. Make sure the opening is a little bigger, without touching the babies. Maybe then they can find their own way out. If not, I would call the local Humane Society and see what they suggest. Usually, they have good suggestions that will not only help you out, but keep the safetly of the birds in mind.
I would hate to see anything happen to these little guys!!

I didn't try and touch it, although I was close enough to and it wasn't moving.

I told the lady in the office today about the birds.
