Does he?? I didn't know that! That guy was HUGE...my mom, who's the reason I'm such a big football fan (I got into baseball and hockey myself), is still in love with Drew Bledsoe...once I'd gotten over my little 10-year old girl crush, I wanted to bang my head against the wall watching him play. I mean, he wasn't terrible, but he was consistently mediocre. I don't like to be greatful for injuries, especially considering how serious that one to Bledsoe was, but can you imagine what would have happened if Tom Brady had never gotten a shot??
Given your name and the fact that you live in MA, are you a Bruins fan?
Do you mean Webster Lake in MA near Indian Ranch?
THe problem with Bledsoe is he isn't good under pressure, he gives up, you see it in his shoulders, his face everything, when the pressure is on, he just gives up. Brady never gives up, he gives 110% right til the end.
I am a Bruins fan sadly. It's really too bad they can't get a good team and their boneheaded move in getting rid of Joe. I was THRILLED when Dennis Wideman came to the team because he used to play for Worcester and I had season tickets to Worcester, when I went to a game one night that my friend had tickets too they were playing the Avalanche and it was right when the B's got Wideman and Mark Rycroft plays for the Avalanche and years ago Rycroft played for Worcester (way before Wideman played for them) and it was like old homes day for me and my friend we got to see two of the guys that we used to watch in Worcester it was so fun for us.
Thomas is an amazing goalie I feel like he is so wasted there though because there really is just so much he can do if he's got no help from the rest of them.

You're right, Brady is the opposite of Bledsoe in that regard, he's at the top of his game under pressure. If you can't be as a quarterback, how are you EVER going to win a championship??
I feel your pain, I love the Bruins. After all of those years choking in the first round of the playoffs after having one of the top if not THE top team in the NHL, I said that I expected the Red Sox to win a championship before the Bruins and guess what? I was right!! :-/
Thomas is great and it seems like Fernandez will be pretty good, too, but I feel like they're focusing too much on goaltending and not enough on defense and the rest of the team...so many good free agents were available this year, look at the Rangers picking up Drury (another crush, though in high school...but I still think he's cute :) ) and Gomez. I suppose I never expected the management to sign any of them, though. I went to a few games this year and most of them were pathetic. I LOVE watching hockey in person, but I left one early because I was bored. That NEVER happens. The Bruins hadn't gotten a shot on goal in an entire period.
