... and they're not going to take it anymore!!
The animals are gearing up. I had to go to the university yesterday to have a PPD test done. While I'm sitting there in the nurses' office, waiting my turn, the student in front of me told the nurse she was there because a squirrel had attacked her that morning. The rodent had jumped from a tree, landing on her head and scratched her and scared the bejeesus our of her. Didn't bite her, but the student was going to have a tetnus shot to be sure.
As I'm sitting there, listening to this, ANOTHER student popped his head in the nurses' office door and said, "I got attacked by a squirrel. I need to see the nurse!"
*I cracked up at that point*
AND NOW, as I sit here typing this, there is a robin beating on my downstairs basement window. He's been sitting there for about an hour, banging on the window with his beak.
I attribute all this animal hostility to nature show hosts.

Seriously.
It's funny you should mention that. A few years ago there was a newspaper story around here (slow news day I guess) about duck "rapes" that were occurring. No kidding.
Weird stuff. I guess animals get pushed to the edge just as we do.
Ya know, I've always wondered if female animals actually like it or not.
>Someone once told me that cats hate it.<
Well, from everything reputable that I've ever read and the cat breeders I once knew, a cat's penis is barbed and the spines point backward towards the male cat. So it is quite painful for the female cat, especially upon withdrawal.
Can you imagine? I don't care how much I liked the guy - absolutely no barbed penis!
Oh, and an update - that robin was back again this morning!
Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!!!!
