I watched Alias even though I am really angry about them killing Agent Vaughn in the first episode of the season. That is the only show that I would not miss and own all of the seasons on DVD, etc. I loved it for the first 3 seasons and last season was not quite as good. Now it is just almost sad. A pregnant CIA agent is not as convincing as they would like us to believe either.

I don't watch The Apprentice. I am not a reality TV fan in general and Donald Trump works my last nerve. Martha Stewart even more so.

I did "watch" it...but for me, watching the Apprentice these days means fast-forwarding through the episode on Tivo to the part where they say which team won, fast-forwarding through the reward, and then watching the boardroom part. It takes about 10 minutes ;-).

It's gotten so boring and predictable, I don't know why I bother even doing that, but it's a minimum investment of time ;-). I was like, oh, good, fewer episodes, when he fired all four last night!

I have read that the ratings this season are "just terrible" as the Donald would say.

I totally agree with you about 'Alias'. The whole thing with the new agents is not convincing and when they killed Vaughn I pretty much gave up on the show alltogether.. Not that their relationship was very convincing anymore, anyway.
It's SO disappointing because I was like you... wouldn't miss the show, wouldn't answer the phone if someone called during the show, bought all the DVDs, read the message boards and now, it's just cr*p.
Reassuring to know others are just as disappointed as I am.

Everyone that I know who watches the show has been disappointed since the beginning of last season - and most of us just don't care if we watch it anymore.

Partly as protest and partly as an homage to the first season, I am going to my Halloween parties dressed as Sydney Bristow from the pilot episode. After she learns that her fiance has been murdered and dons the red wig and dresses like a cat burglar. : )

I also watched that Primetime episode and I can't believe she is putting up with all the mental abuse from her deadbeat husband. Must she be that desperate to be willing to stay with a man that treats her like trash when she works so hard to pay for everything that he enjoys??

I don't really like reality TV either and probably wouldn't end up watching if it weren't on Thursdays before ER.

I thought I had heard the ratings were bad, but I wasn't sure.

If that man spoke to me the way he spoke to her, I'd be in a corner in the fetal position ready to protect myself.

How was the costume? I saw one other 'Sydney' this weekend, it was too funny!
And just FYI if you haven't seen it already, there's a "lost episode" of 'Alias' on newbornpix.com. It's pretty great!

It turned out perfectly and I was surprised by how many people knew what the costume was. People really got a kick out of it. But the wig came off around 11:00pm because it just go to be uncomfortable. I tried to watch that video but it won't play. :(
