I'm still new to these forums, so I don't know much about you, but do you workout regularly?

Yeah...if you're burning 900 calories (and that's probably right), you can afford some ice cream.

I wear some elaborate pedometer called a "FitBit" and it tells me how many calories I burn.

It's probably a good thing that I'm lactose intolerant or I'd be eating ice cream a lot, too. The best "diet" I ever went on was when I had a bacterial infection in my stomach. I could eat soup, jello, and grilled cheese and that was about it. Everything else upset my stomach. I lost ten pounds in about a month without even trying. Not eating is easy when it's painful! I am down about two pounds, and that's after gorging on thanksgiving food all weekend. I guess that's good. I just hope it keeps going that way or I'll get frustrated and give up.

If you're running six miles a day, you shouldn't have any problem burning off that ice cream. I can have a cookie or two a day when I exercise and still eat rather normally. I only run about a mile and walk three and still burn about 400 calories off in about an hour. You've got to be burning 600+ if you're running all that.

Thanks, Shy.

My jeans aren't getting any looser either.

No, mine hurts in my heel, behind it really on the back of my foot. Everything I read said it should go away on its own, but my sister said she needed six cortisone shots before hers went away. I really just need to make an appointment with my doctor, but this time is so busy I'm not sure when I'll fit it in. I ran last night for the first time in a week and my heel was killing me this morning. I'm going to have to fix it soon, somehow. My jeans aren't getting any looser, that's for sure. I can't have pain holding me back!

I know what you're talking about on the top of the foot, though. Mine hurts there if I overextend it in the wrong way. You might be wearing the wrong shoes or just striking in a way that stresses your foot there.
