I'm curious, what do you think is the average number of boyfriends one acquires during a lifetime?

that truly depends on each person and their experiences growing up and with men in general. if a man can get a high five from him buds for having had 5 girlfriends a week for the last 20 years...women should as well.

but if you are a monogomous being and want only one mate a time for a certain amount of time...then 1 every 5 yrs otta do. or 2yrs...or 10 yrs....
average # of beaus i had(so far) ....since i was 18...3.I broke off one engagement, married and divorced another, and the 3rd...dumped him after 5 years.

Couldn't say, I've only had 1 in my life and I am 28 years old. Been trying to get a 2nd for the longest.

Why does it matter? Who's doing the counting? Your family or you? What counts is the level of the meaningfulness of the relationship, and the value it brings or has brought to your life in the end. And, everybody has a different style of dating, some count casual dates as being indicative of bf/gf, but others don't until you kiss or until you sleep together. Who knows? And, again who's counting and why?
