Well I had my fun last night. Me and 3 girls from school went to dinner at Elephant and Castle and then the Blackhawks/Flames game. Me, explaining the rules and the game of hockey to they who had never been to a hockey game. It was a lot of fun. Chicago won too which was surprising. I was goin for the Flames but happy to see Chicago win against a good team. We've made plans to go again in March when the next home game happens; its nice to have friends again after being alone in the city since I've moved here. Plus the game is a good refocus point for me to get motivated for school again...speaking of which...

I'm back to being boring and will be studying all weekend long trying to get caught up. I don't work at all so I'll also be staying off my knee this weekend too. Will sleep in and do some laundry too.

Not sure I'm the one you want to live vicariously ;)

Tonight - a jazz club. On a whim, I started this little jazz/blues appreciation group and tonight's the first event. Always looking for new ways to make friends - and at least I'll have some good music to go along with it.

Tomorrow, snowshoeing.

Sunday, date #3 with a guy I'm on the fence about.

AJ, enjoying life with C.

I'm staying in tonight, and going to a horse sale tomorrow during the day, and taking myself out to a movie tomorrow evening. As for Sunday, probably nothing.

Elephant and Castle?? I love that place!! We go there a lot after work because I am next door to it. Seems so strange to see somebody mention it, you think the work is so big. They have one in Ireland, too.

For my weekend, I am going to see the movie Triston and Isolde tonight. Tomorrow I might go out with some friends. After that, who knows, but I do need to clean my place very badly!

Brace yourself, this is a doozy!!!

Tomorrow I have to work at the gym from 7am-1:30pm, then I have 2 massages (each 90 minutes) which will get me home around 5:30-6pm, then I'm FORCING myself to go have a couple of drinks with some girlfriends (the guy I'm kind of seeing told me tonight "you need to go out with your friends! Saturday is the night for that!"). Then Sunday, I'm supposed to see said guy, I think we're just going to work out and grab some food....

However, this time next weekend, I'll be on my cruise!!!

Small world! The first time I was in an Elephant and Castle was when I was in Winnipeg for a psych conference 2 years ago. Very fun atmosphere. Though I was a bit weirded out by the long island tea I ordered. It tasted like a caffienated lemonade, not very strong booze wise (which seems impossible considering it has like 5 different liquors in it) and I don't think it had any coke. Ah well, but I'm sure I'll be back now that I found it.

Which E&C do you guys go to? There's the one on Adams and another on St. Clair - I work around the corner from the one on Adams and have lunch there sometimes. We used to go there for drinks after work but almost all of the young people in my office have left for other jobs and the couple of them that remain are married and have kids now.
