What makes you a "cougar"....

Is it pursuing a man who is younger than you or being over 35 and pursuing a man you are interested in......

Let me make this as short as possible. There is this "sexy chocolate" man that works with me........

Needless to say, I am seriously "feigning" for him. So, I wrote him a letter just asking to get to know him better outside of work and that we could keep things discrete and professional at work.....

He hasn't responded yet, but it dawned on me that I may be exhibiting "cougar" behavior......

What do you all think, was I too forward?? He has an awesome personality and frankly is very kind and helpful to me in my classroom........

Maybe I am just so "needy" that I latched on to the first guy who showed me interest but I am not getting any younger and he's the first guy in a long time who thinks and acts on my level......

Did I mention we are one day apart in age?? I don't know, maybe I just need to take my butt home and leave him alone, I mean he could reject me,which is fine, no harm, no foul..........

Let me know what you think?? Am

Be careful about mixing business with pleasure at work.

Generally speaking, a couger is a 35+ woman who surfs clubs for hot young dudes.

I have a guy who is 29 (I'm 38) and we have had a definite FWB situation over a 4-year span. One night this summer he called me his 'cougar'.

Surprisingly, I took it as a compliment! LOL

Thanks for your opinion. The letter was worded very respectfully and I am an adult, if he says no, then I will leave it alone.....

I think you would have to understand the nature of the work environment here to know that I would not hold a grudge against him.....

Forget the topic, how have you been?? We haven't emailed in ages. Can you believe I am finished my Master's Degree?? Just waiting for my approval on my thesis. Oh man, email me at heyauntie3536@comcast.net We'll talk some more.....

See, there have been signs that's he's interested, I am not always approachable, so maybe he felt like he couldn't say anything.......

Believe me, there have been signs or I wouldn't have put myself out there......
