Is it pursuing a man who is younger than you or being over 35 and pursuing a man you are interested in......
Let me make this as short as possible. There is this "sexy chocolate" man that works with me........
Needless to say, I am seriously "feigning" for him. So, I wrote him a letter just asking to get to know him better outside of work and that we could keep things discrete and professional at work.....
He hasn't responded yet, but it dawned on me that I may be exhibiting "cougar" behavior......
What do you all think, was I too forward?? He has an awesome personality and frankly is very kind and helpful to me in my classroom........
Maybe I am just so "needy" that I latched on to the first guy who showed me interest but I am not getting any younger and he's the first guy in a long time who thinks and acts on my level......
Did I mention we are one day apart in age?? I don't know, maybe I just need to take my butt home and leave him alone, I mean he could reject me,which is fine, no harm, no foul..........

Thanks everyone for clearing that up for me. As for the "letter" I have to assume it has been rejected seeing as how he will not talk to me about it, even though he said he would, so you all were right, but hey no problem, just move on to bigger and better things.........

First of all, good for you for putting yourself out there even though I probably would not have gone down the letter route. I probably would have asked him out for lunch or after works drinks & tried to suss out whether he was interested.
Second of all, I don't like the term 'cougar'. I think it is derogatory and there doesn't seem to be any male equivalent. My impression of a cougar is a woman who purposefully sets out to find men of

I think I owe you a humble "oops, I'm sorry." I was reading fast and indeed took the new 30 line in context of the "cougar" post. In that context it didn't sound to good. ((-: I have to say I was thinking, she could not possibly be saying what I think she is . .
