OK, this may be a stupid topic, but I have to question my own judgment....apparently, in my old age, I am more easily frightened. So, what do I do?

Ha, ha! Not a stupid topic. I haven't seen vacancy..sounds like it was a good one though. ;) One of my friends got me to watch "House of Wax" and "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" with her the other night. She said she watched both of those by herself a few weeks earlier. She's the last person on earth who should be watching scary movies alone..LOL...She's the kind of person who will put chairs in front of double locked front and back doors and also close her bedroom door and lock it at night. I barely blinked an eye during "exorcism of emily rose", but I admit "the house of wax" freaked me out. I had to pause the movie a couple times just to get my composure because I was so freaked out, I couldn't handle it. LOL

Needless to say if Vacancy scared me, I won't be watching any other scary movies for a while, so House of Wax is out of the question for me! On the bright side, there were no cameras or creepy guys lurking around my house last night....but it could be a while before I'd even consider staying in an isolated motel out in the middle of nowhere.

And as for your friend, does she live in a high crime area or is she just paranoid?

Yes, I'd still avoid the motels LOL

My friend is neither in a high crime area or paranoid, really. I tease her about it and she laughs it off. She loves watching scary movies. Go figure.

Stay safe! :P
