So I have been talking to a few guys at Marriage Boutique (it's an online dating site) and I like them a lot.

My personal opinion is that I wouldn't get into anything too heavy until I actually meet someone.

That makes sense.

That's why I used OKcupid.com. In most cases I already knew these things about the guys I went out with because you can answer those questions and view orhers' answers.

To be frank, I wouldn't know how to broach any personal questions like that. But I do venture into controversial issues particularly political ones because that is important to me, I have no shame inthat respect. One I should bring up if there is no place on the profile is the person's thoughta on pets. I ahould have really asdrssed that with the last guy who thinks dogs are dirty because of his religion. I give up my pets for no one!

Even if sites don't have room for a particular question, if pets are really important to you, you could throw something in there like "I just really love my dogs and it would be important for any boyfriend to love animals too" or something like that.

That's actually how the conversation about gay marriage came about, I sent a funny link of Rachel Maddow asking a politician about gay marrage and low and behold it was an awkward moment. Irs funny cause she is gay and the response was ridiculous. Believe me I have asked the casual polical question before. But you are right I can make a point to mention pets in the profile even if there isn't a spot.

It is very important to get rid of idealistic crap and think of true dealbreakers.

For me, not liking my pets is a true dealbreaker. Being a conservative is also a dealbeaker. To me its about values and my family, my pets are my family. But you are right xxxs, you have to really identify and truly know what's important to you and in the other hand, know what's trivial.
