Women and apologies

I would like to know why it is so hard for most women to apologize to a man. Does it have to with power or having the upper hand in a relationship? I've heard so many stories of women doing the cruelest things, yet there always seems to be an excuse. I just wonder if there are women out there who are willing to take accountibility for their actions. Men really admire this quality in a woman because it is so rare nowadays...

I can't think of a relationship where I didn't apologize WAY more than the guy...and often for stuff that wasn't even my fault (which is my own issue, and I recognize that).
I don't think this is common at all (for women not to apologize). In my experience, it's very much more common for men to have a problem doing so.

I always apologize when I'm wrong.
"Oh, please. Men are just as bad. You really seem to have a lot of bad views/experiences of women. Maybe it's something that you are doing..."
Actually my experiences are getting better and better. I'm just wondering about this one particular trait I've noticed...
