Women and Doctors

I've noticed that women really tend to light up when they learn that a potential date is a doctor. I mean I can understand that they make a lot of money have power and what not. But many other jobs have that. So what is it specifically about a doctor that makes women swoon and attracted to a guy.

I, for one, don't have any particular preference for doctors, so I couldn't tell you, really.
Interesting--I don't react that way at all--in fact I'd be negatively inclined at first because my assumption would be he would have to work long hours
LOL do you have opportunity to witness this phenomenon often?? Because I never do.
I don't know, I am attracted to just men I am attracted to whatever there occupation, as long as they have a job.

Unless the doctor is McDreamy or McSteamy, that's not really my type of guy either. I don't seek out doctors to date and I don't really know any other women who do.
"I don't seek out doctors to date and I don't really know any other women who do."
Uh well actually I didn't mean that they purposely seek out doctors, because you're right I don't know anyone who does that either. But I mean if a girl hears that a guy she is interested in is a doctor her interest level skyrockets. I don't know any woman who purposely seeks out doctors to date but I have heard women brag about dating a doctor or get excited by it. So I'm just wondering whats the appeal to it?
Depends on what kind of doctor.
If he's a DVM or VMD specializing in equine medicine...well, yeah, of course I'd be all over that.
But your run of the mill people doctor? nah.
Well, frankly it's for the exact same reason guys light up around a bubble head blonde with a killer body and a lukewarm IQ

Ha!
I was going to say the same thing.
I actually don't like either of those guys either! Too arrogant.
